Professional Apple Models... (yes, there is such a thing!)

The pictures are finally here!!! Yes, I know after our teaser of a post about our time as models, you were on the edge of your seat waiting for the final product, so now you can sleep better at night! What can we say about this, really? I guess the first picture says it all... Danny and I LOVE APPLES!! WE DO! We can't help ourself so when we got a call from our agent (haha) about modeling for delicious Andong apples, we immediately said, "YES!!" As you scroll through the delight that is our photo shoot below, make sure and imagine yourself eating a juicy, crunchy, delicious apple and you might even find that a tear comes to your eye... we are that good.
As you can see, I am a natural at highlighting the text that you would see in an add to my left.
Danny is saying, "MMMMmmmm, this apple looks delicious, I can't wait to take a bite!Mmm!"
Danny with our cute Korean model. She is pointing at the apple in case you can't take your eyes off Danny.
I know what your thinking, and no our photographer didn't miss any angle. He made sure to get the ever important photo from above.

Wow, what a good lookin' couple. Too bad that I didn't make the final cut on the add. Unfortunately, when you all come to visit our billboard, you will only see Danny and the Korean model. Here is a copy of the email sent to us by the photographer telling me why my photo wasn't chosen:

Hello ? Mail was late. How are you ? Work completed and wife's photograph was not used in advertisement impatiently. Is impatient filmed hard. Thank you for cooperating in photographing and will ask next. It is very hot. Body is healthy and is tranquilly.

As you can read, I must have been too impatient so he decided not to use my photograph. I don't blame him, I married one good looking guy and I was going to put his face on a billboard if someone else didn't!!

All in all, it was a funny experience, and we even got some "normal" couple pictures out of it! I asked the photographer if he could take a few pictures of us before we finished the shoot so he was kind enough to say yes. At first he of course did the traditional "Korean old people" picture that already makes Danny and I look 40 years older, but then after some convincing, he took some "normal" pictures.
I was happy with how this picture turned out so I will leave this final image burning in your brain. Although we look better with apples in our hands, this is in fact what we usually look like. Hope you enjoyed the journey! ; )

  1. Love it! I love how in one picture, Danny's forehead and the apple are competing for shinyness:)
I'll just hop on my airplane and be right over to check out the billboards:)
    Love you guys!

  2. It is about time! Have been waiting to see these photos but they are so much better with your captions! Now I just need to think of a way to use these on the Carefree Wednesdays blog. Hmmmm. BTW, did your photographer learn English from the "Butter English" folks!
